VERGE emerges this summer as Milwaukee's newest two day alternative and modern rock festival on Milwaukee's lakefront. Producers at VERGE have brought together some of the greatest rock acts of the past decade, as well as popular indie rock acts just emerging on the national music scene. Dedicated to supporting the Milwaukee music scene, VERGE also presents a number of spectacular local talents to round out the VERGE music experience.

In addition to a first-rate lineup, VERGE is excited to host a number of other attractions, as well as some top-notch merchandise and delicious food and beer. So come join us for two days filled to the brim with music, merch and munchies. We'll see you there!

VERGE is brought to you by Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., the brains and brawn behind Summerfest, Milwaukee's epic, much loved 11-day music festival running June 24 - July 4 this festival season.

The Winner:

Congratulations to the winner of the Your Music Festival naming competition, Katie Kostuck!  Born in Milwaukee, Kostuck attended the Atlanta College of Art to pursue her dreams of being an artist and is now a Senior Art Director at Kohl's Department Store.  Kostuck commented about the contest, "I've always loved music.  I grew up with parents that liked to play records, sisters who always had music on in their bedrooms.  Heck I even remember the first day MTV went on the air.  I was five at the time!  From the early days of middle school I preferred the "progressive" music that played on college radio.  Music is a huge part of my life.  It's the tool I use to recall past events in my life.  A friend let me know about this unique opportunity.  My two loves in life, art and music, in one contest? I just had to take a stab at it."
