Parents driving you down? Designated drop off and pick up areas will be at the South Gate turn around accessible via Polk Street, as well as on Michigan street, east of Lake Memorial Drive, by Urban Park.




Getting Here/Getting In : Transportation : Driving Directions

Follow the smiles! Traffic signs are sporadically placed around Milwaukee pointing you in the right direction when driving to the fest. Be sure to look out for the iconic "Summerfest smile" for a little extra guidance.

From the South: Heading north on I-43/94, take the I-794 East exit and then exit at Van Buren/Jackson Street (left hand exit). Turn right (south) at end of ramp to St. Paul Avenue, then right again (west) onto St. Paul Avenue or continue south to Chicago Street. Follow the signs and attendants to one of the many parking lots in the area.

From the North: Heading south on I-43, take the I-94 Westbound/I-794 Eastbound ramp. Merge onto I-794 eastbound. Turn right (south) at end of ramp to St. Paul Avenue, then right again (west) onto St. Paul Avenue or continue south to Chicago Street. Follow the signs and attendants to one of the many parking lots in the area.

From the West: Take I-94 East to I-794 East, exit at Jackson St. (left hand exit). Turn right (south) to St. Paul Avenue, then right again (west) onto St. Paul Avenue or continue south to Chicago Street. Follow the signs and attendants to one of the many parking lots in the area.

Getting Here/Getting In : Transportation : Parking

Parking for VERGE will be available for a fee in a number of our lots surrounding the festival grounds. Arrive early to snag a prime spot in one of our lots closest to the Mid-Gate entrance.

Parking attendants will be able to direct you to the nearest available parking space. Access to the festival will be through the Mid-Gate entrance only, so park near Chicago Street to minimize your walk to the gate. Getting Here/Getting In : Transportation : Public Transportation

We're big fans of public transportation here at VERGE. Saving on gas, no fretting over parking and a guaranteed designated driver at the end of the night are just a few benefits of riding our city's great chariots.

There will not be special Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) service to the Verge Music Festival. Attendees looking to take public transportation can take regular MCTS Routes 12, 14, 23, 31 or 33 to the Downtown Transit Center located at E. Michigan St. & Lincoln Memorial Drive and walk or bike to the festival grounds. They can also take Routes 11 or 15 to E. Chicago St. in the Third Ward and walk or bike to the grounds. Fare is $2.25 each way for adults, or $1.10 for children (6-11), seniors (65 and older), and disabled persons with proper I.D. For more information, please visit RideMCTS.com.

Dearest bicycle enthusiasts, we do adore you. Congrats on being the greenest of the green.

To ensure you make it to us safely, click here for a detailed map of bike routes to VERGE. Parking in the festival bicycle park at the Mid-Gate is free at all times.

But do please make sure that you secure your bicycle while you are with us. Unfortunately, we can't help you out if your bicycle love disappears.

Milwaukee is a great city to visit in the summertime. These sunny few months of respite from the Wisconsin winter are packed full of music, arts and festival fun. So come play!

Amtrak Hiawatha Service
Coming to Your Music Festival from Chicago or Racine/Kenosha? This summer, jam without traffic by taking the train with Amtrak Hiawatha Service between Chicago and Milwaukee. Amtrak Hiawatha offers easy access to VERGE Music Festival from the downtown Milwaukee Intermodal Station. You can catch the train from downtown Chicago Union Station, Glenview in the Northern suburbs and Sturtevant in the Racine / Kenosha Area. Visit amtrakhiawatha.com for details.

Lake Express
